In today's deepening globalization, cultural exchange and communication have become an important bridge connecting people in different countries and regions. As an important way to explore human history and inherit cultural heritage, archaeology's cross-cultural communication is facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges. Especially in China, a country with a splendid civilization history of 5,000 years, archaeological discoveries have not only attracted wide attention from scholars at home and abroad, but also stimulated foreign bloggers' keen interest in ancient culture. However, due to cultural differences, language barriers and different ways of interpreting information, cross-cultural dissemination of archaeological culture is often difficult to achieve the expected results. In this context, foreign bloggers, as a new force of cultural communication, have gradually emerged in the field of archaeological cross-cultural communication. They not only possess unique cultural perspectives and intercultural communication skills, but also can use diversified communication means to present complex archaeological knowledge to the global audience in a vivid and interesting way. This mode of communication not only breaks the boundaries of traditional archaeological cultural communication, but also provides new possibilities for dialogue and understanding between different cultures. In this context, this paper aims to explore how foreign bloggers in China construct empathy in the practice of cross-cultural archaeological communication, and analyze the impact of such empathy construction on the effect of cultural communication. Through case correlation analysis, this paper reveals how foreign bloggers make use of their unique cultural perspectives and cross-cultural communication skills to establish emotional connections with audiences in the dissemination of archaeological content. The study found that empathy construction not only enhanced the audience's understanding and interest in archaeological culture, but also promoted the communication and integration between different cultures. This paper further analyzes the key factors affecting the construction of empathy, including the personal background of bloggers, communication strategies, audience characteristics, etc., and puts forward corresponding optimization suggestions, hoping to provide references for future cross-cultural communication practices.
