A Study of the Historical Origins of Traditional Chinese Landscape Painting and the Expression of Color Imagery
Abstract
Abstract: The expression of color imagery in traditional Chinese landscape painting not only reflects the painters' in-depth observation and unique understanding of natural beauty, but also reflects the deep cultural heritage and artistic charm of the Chinese nation. Through the use and expression of color, painters convey their awe and love for nature, as well as their perception and pursuit of life. For this reason, we propose an analysis and comparative study of the historical origin of traditional Chinese landscape painting and the expression of color imagery. At present, we briefly analyze the historical origin of traditional Chinese landscape painting, and then analyze the specific characteristics of landscape painting in terms of the rigorous and free composition, the conversion of ink and brushwork into reality and the unity and harmony of meaning. On the basis of this, the color imagery of traditional landscape painting is carefully studied in terms of ochre ink, green, gold, blue and mixed colors to strengthen the expression of emotions and to show the unique charm and deep cultural connotation.
